3rd International Conference on “Maternal & Fetal Medicine” on February 1st, Fetal Ultrasound (pre-congress) & 2nd & 3rd, 2025

3rd International Conference on “Maternal & Fetal Medicine” was held on 1–3 February 2025 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC), Agargaon, Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. The Pre-Congress on Fetal Ultrasound was held on 1 February, followed by the Main Congress on 2–3 February 2025.

The conference was attended by around 700 gynecologists, with 55 speakers presenting in 22 scientific sessions under the theme “Quality Care – Women’s Right.” The sessions focused on reducing maternal mortality, high-risk pregnancy, advanced maternal-fetal medicine, and strengthening the referral system for women’s healthcare.

The closing ceremony was held on 3 February 2025 at 4:00 PM, chaired by Professor Dr. Firoza Begum, President of MFMSB, who highlighted the development and current status of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Bangladesh. The session was conducted by Dr. Tabassum Parvin, Secretary General of MFMSB.
